Armenians Fired at Aghdam: Azerbaijani Soldier Wounded

At about 17:50 on July 6, units of the Azerbaijani Army in the direction of the Aliagali village of the Aghdam district were fired upon by illegal Armenian armed formations from the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed.

According to the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan, an Azerbaijani serviceman, senior warrant officer Dadashov Sakit Ahliman oglu, who participated in the improvement of the road, was wounded as a result of the shelling. The wounded man received first aid and was taken to a military hospital.

The command of the Russian peacekeeping forces and the Turkish-Russian Joint Monitoring Centre were informed about the incident to investigate it.
